The ground floor of your structure

Print at 100%: the empty ground floor, then its furniture, appliances and cabinets at the same scale. Cut them out and try your own layout.
The attic: a loft under the roof
The roof rises at 12/12 above the tie beam: the attic is one more floor, lit by a gable window — at 16 and 20 ft wide, large enough to get out in a fire; at 12 ft, the roof is too low for an egress window. You climb up by ladder; you store things there, and sleep there if you like. It isn't a bedroom under the code (2.1 m of headroom over 3.5 m², table 9.5.3.1.): the plan's bedroom is on the ground floor. Check the use you have in mind with your municipality.
A tiny house built for you
